ABOUT ME

Hello! I’m Gemma, founder of GB Interior Design. My passion for interior design began over 10 years ago when my husband and I purchased our first home—a charming but neglected property. I immediately saw its potential, and after six months of transforming it from the ground up, I was hooked. Since then, we've renovated three more homes, handling everything from stripping back walls and rewiring the electrics to updating the plumbing and tearing down walls to create a space that works better for us. Each project has fueled my love for creating beautiful, functional spaces.

I am passionate about working with colour, texture, and pattern to design interiors that are not only visually stunning, but deeply personal and practical. My goal is to make the design process as stress-free and enjoyable as possible, understanding your unique needs to create spaces that truly work for you.

This service gives you one hour with me, at home or online, to discuss and unpick your design dilemma. I will provide you with a palette of paint colours and finishes giving you the building blocks to move forward with your design.

From £180 per room

If you're finding it hard to get started on your project, this service is perfect for you. We’ll have a relaxed conversation, either in your home or online, to discuss your vision and goals. From there, I’ll create your design board showcasing colour schemes, style, furniture, and flooring ideas—helping you bring your dream space to life.

Full Room Makeover

From £950 per room

Knowing where to start when you want to give a space a makeover can be overwhelming, but with my full room makeover I will take the stress away by co-ordinating your project. I will also create you a design board outlining colour, style, furnishings and flooring, as well as providing you with a curated list of items to make your room sing.
